AGBAZUERE TASKS ABIANS IN DIASPORA ON DEVELOPMENT OF IDEAS FOR MASSIVE DEVELOPMENT IN ABIA
Abians in diaspora have been called upon to come up with ideas and innovations that would help in accelerating massive development across Abia State.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State, Dr A.C.B Agbazuere made the call in his office at Government House, Umuahia when he received in audience a high powered delegation of Abia State National Association of North America led by their president, Mr Chibuzo Ngwakwe.
Dr. Agbazuere assured of the state government’s readiness to continue to synergize with as well as partner relevant socio-economic organizations in their programmes and activities for the overall good and development of the state.
The Chief of Staff who commended the members of Abia State National Association of North America for complimenting Dr Okezie Ikpeazu’s efforts at enhancing and transforming the state through the donation of educational and medical facilities to the state, urged them to sustain the tempo.
Also speaking, the member representing Isialangwa North/South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr Darlington Nwokocha harped on the need for stronger synergy between the state government and Abians in diaspora in order to drive home Governor Ikpeazu’s vision of a new and better Abia.
In his address, the president of Abia State National Association of North America, Mr Chibuzo Ngwakwe who commended Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for appointing an erudite scholar, Dr A.C.B Agbazuere as his Chief of Staff, stated that part of their visit was to felicitate with Dr Agbazuere on his appointment as well as present their template that will help in bringing about rapid development in the state.
The visit featured goodwill messages and prayer for the Governor and State at large.
