I wouldn’t have taken this time off my graphic screen to respond to this “APGA show of confusion” if not for the remembrance of how their past irrelevant and unwarranted judicial distractions slowed down the pace of developmental projects in our dear State. But thank God for giving us a resilient and hard working personage as Governor, otherwise one can not imagine where Abia would have been in the map of development today.
With grave dismay I have noted the unwarranted media concoction in form of press release dished out by one Madu Chikwendu, who claims the office of Publicity Secretary of a dead party in Abia State known as APGA, which says that APGA Abia plans to take a legal action against Abia State government following what he called the illegal and unconstitutional award of contract in the road construction and reconstruction.
Its funny to hear the APGA, calculating the alleged amount of money spend on various kilometers of quality roads being done by Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu in Abia State when it had continually alleged that nothing is happening in Abia State. At least, this is a prove that the remnants of the dead party, APGA, recognize the fact that the present PDP led administration on the State is constructing many kilometers of roads in the State.
One also wonders why the so called Publicity Secretary is worried about the laudable projects of Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
Whereas, the major stakeholders of APGA have left the party and collapsed all their structures to PDP because of the giant strides of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in the State, the remnants of APGA, who are not only structureless but have lost touch with realities and are now dragging grasses as drowning men are busy spreading falsehood instead of identifying with the good works of Ikpeazu scattered all over the 17 LGAs of the State.
It is common knowledge that Governor Ikpeazu has performed beyond expectations and has fixed durable roads that would outlive his administration in 2023. More particularly, the Governor has changed the negative narrative of Ukwumago-Ariaria, Aba and Aba road in Umuahia, which have defied all efforts to fix them by previous administration. Somebody should take Madu Chikwendu round numerous roads built in the State by Governor Ikpeazu.
It would amount to popularising Madu Chikwendu in reacting to allegations against the BCA, which every body knows, parades the best hands and professionals in the whole South East and beyond. They cannot go against the existing code of the National Broadcasting Commission and cannot respond to the dead dreams imaginations of Madu Chikwendu.
This move by APGA is a true confirmation that there has been plans to ensure Governor Ikpeazu will not perform and deliver dividends of democracy to Abia people who elected him into office.
This band of political leprous men failed with their initial judicial distraction in which they dragged Governor Okezie Ikpeazu from one court to the other for more than two years, making him the only Governor that went to Supreme court for two times within two years in office in one case of governorship seat.
No wonder, they are here again to look for a way to deceive the Abia populace. Glory to God for the abundant evidence of good works of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu which has started speaking for him. Abia people and residents are therefore called upon to disregard the baseless allegations with dispatch and ensure they rise against those seeking to stall development in Abia as well as those whose prayers are that Abia would be in a state of choas.
Come to think of it, there is no APGA as a divided house can not stand the test of time, so, the best for ABIA is in Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D. He is the moving train, ordained by God to take Abia State to an enviable height till 2023.
