Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has been commended for his boldness and confidence in announcing the results of his Covid-19 test to all citizens of Abia State.
Abia State National Association of North America (ASNA-NA), who made the commendation, said the information should sounds as a cautious warming for all Abians to take and follow all Covid-19 preventive measures seriously.
The Association, in a release by its Publicity and Media Officer, Mrs Joy Wokocha, said, “We wish him speedy recovery and at the same time we call on all the good citizens of our State to follow the guidelines of social distancing and isolation.”
It noted that the recent surge of the infection rate in the State calls for everyone to be careful and follow the State and NCDC guidelines insisting that the acts of social distancing, wearing the face mask, staying and avoiding crowd works in reducing the incidence of infection.
It however called on all citizens and residents of Abia State to keep a positive approach.
