Atiku arrives in Abuja ahead of presidential debate

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday, returned to Abuja from his two-day visit to the United States of America.

According to Paul Ibe, his media adviser, Atiku arrived the country on Saturday afternoon.

Atiku arrived in travelled to the US on Thursday with Senate President, Bukola Saraki, after over a decade of not stepping into the God’ own country.

 

His visit came as a shock to his opposition party, who has alleged that he would not be able to enter the US, over corruption charges levelled against him in the country.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government has revealed that the former vice president would have questions to answer regarding the collapse of the Platinum Habib Bank.
