The State – wide, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Free Eye Care Programme has kicked – off yesterday at Mgboko General Hospital in Obingwa Local Government Area of the State.
Speaking at the occasion the Executive Chairman, Obingwa Local Government Area, Hon. Hanson Amaechi appreciated the giant strides of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, especially in the area of medical care.

He urged the people to use the opportunity provided by the Governor to access free eye care services and prayed God to bless the Governor for bringing the life changing programme to the rural area.
Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Health Matters, Hon (Dr) Ikechukwu Nwabeke enjoined the people to expect more health touching programmes as the Dr. Ikpeazu is a health conscious Governor and appreciated the Governor for his kind gesture to the people.
Residents of Obingwa came out in their numbers to partake in the medical outreach as the event attracted a Special Assistant to the Governor on Education, Mr. Chino Ugorji, the Resident Doctor of the General Hospital, Dr Zubby Ikonne among other dignitaries.
