EACH ONE AID ONE BUSINESS SUPPORT PROGRAMME LANDS AT UTURU

The Each One Aid One Foundation team, Monday took its Business Support Programme to Uturu in Isuikwuato Local Government Area in continuation of its Project targeted at supporting petty traders in the State to scale up their businesses.

The team visited Ukwunwangwu Daily Market and ABSU UpGate Market, Uturu for the distribution of cash gifts and umbrellas, with traders overjoyed with the gesture.

The Programme Coordinator Prince A. A. Abu, while addressing the traders in these places, said the gesture was in line with the mission and vision of the foundation which he said was aimed at reducing the high level of sufferings amongst petty traders who were harshly hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Prince Abu said the Chairman of the Foundation, Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor was touched to by the level hardship and sufferings petty traders are passing through and needed to support them to boost their trade.

The Coordinator told the beneficiaries to ensure they utilize the gifts given to them judiciously, stressing that the Foundation would do more if they can make good use of the ones given to them.

He disclosed that a monitoring and evaluation team would take periodic assessment of their businesses to ascertain the level of progress in their businesses.

In their separate responses, Mrs Uchechi, Mr. Clement, Mrs. Kate and others thanked the Foundation for the kind gesture and appreciated the Chairman of the Foundation for remembering them at this critical time where COVID-19 lockdown has brought many damages, praying that God will continue to bless and prosper the initiator of the programme.

ABIA ONLINE reports that more than 250 traders were captured from both Ukwunwangwu Daily Market and ABSU UpGate Market.
