Ekwueme: Family holds tribute night January

The family of late former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, has fixed a tribute night for January 28, 2018, at the International Conference Center (ICC), Abuja.
Ekwueme died in a London hospital on November 19, 2017.
The tribute night in Ekwueme’s honour was made known yesterday, at the Revival House of Glory, where his first son, Pastor Goodheart Ekwueme presides.
A national burial committee in charge of Ekwueme’s burial, headed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha, was inaugurated December 5.
Other committee members include Ministers of Power, Works and Housing,  Babatunde Raji Fashola, Information and Culture,   Lai Mohammed, Finance, Kemi Adeosun, Labour and Productivity, Chris Ngige, Mr. Ibrahim Idris and Mallam Lawal Musa Daura.
Others are his son, Pastor Ekwueme, Secretary to the State Government (Anambra), Prof. Osita Chukwulobelu and the Permanent   Secretary,   General   Services Office,   Dr.   Roy   Ugo, who is the secretary of the committee, according to a statement signed by Deputy Director (Press) Office Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mohammed Nakorji.
The federal government has said it will foot the bill for the burial.
Mustapha has assured the family that their father will be given a befitting, state burial.
