The Supreme Court has given judgement on the litigations of the trio of Barr. F .N Nwosu, Dr. Alex Otti and Mr. Uche Ogah against the dully elected Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu on the authenticity of his tax papers. This has brought to an end the long protracted legal battle against our indomitable Governor Ikpeazu.
It is no news that if not for the sagacity of our own Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, the distractions attached to the litigation could have stalled development in God’s-Own-State. Today, the case has been laid to rest in the favour of the people’s Governor, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph, D – a victory he has dedicated to all Abians and democracy.
Henceforth, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu will concentrate squarely to continuously deliver unmitigated democratic dividends to the Abia electorate who gave their mandate freely to him
It will thus create a long lasting confidence on all stakeholders; investors, entrepreneurs and other development partners to leverage on the political and attendant economic stability to contribute their quota to Abia’s growth and development.
It has not been a tea party for Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to be handling court distractions and the enormous responsibilities of his office, more so as he is poised to bring the aura of development to the Abia populace.
It is therefore a very good opportunity to appraise the efforts of our indefatigable Governor even in the face of litigations and also congratulate him on his triumph at the apex courts.
