The MD/CEO, Hallowed Hands Aba, Engr. Enyinnaya Nana Nwafor, has lauded the Abia state Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for numerous construction of roads in Aba and the entire state.

Nwafor who disclosed this in Aba during an interaction with newsmen, said that without good roads, businesses cannot move smoothly in the state.

The entrepreneur who further described Aba as the Japan of Africa, applauded Aba entrepreneurial spirit, adding that Abians are blessed with raw skills/special talents waiting to be put into good use.

In his words: “Abians have special talents, they learn and adapt very fast. My companies in Abia are running efficiently without any foreign expatriate; including maintenance. I hardly buy spare parts outside the country for my equipments but source them here in Aba”

He further described Abia as a goldmine, calling on investors and well-to-do Abians to invest in the state.

“I’m settled in Abia. It is time to think home and others first. Believe in your state; believe in Abia project. Play your part, pay your tax and with our collective efforts, we can make Abia truly number one”, he further urged investors.

This, he said, will create jobs for the teeming unemployed, increase the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), boost foreign exchange and enhance Human Capital Development Index among others in Abia.

Engr. Nwafor, however, called for an organized tax system, maintaining that multiple taxation scares investors away and drains the state’s economy dry.

He further identified lack of stable electricity (power supply) as a major problem hindering massive development in Abia, urging governments at all levels to do more as no business could thrive without stable electricity.
