EZE UGWUALA COMMENDS IKPEAZU’S GIANT STRIDES, URGES HIM TO COMPLETE ONGOING PROJECTS
The 2nd Deputy Chairman, Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze (Dr.) Harry Ugwuala has commended Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for his giant strides in the State.
Eze Ugwuala made the commendation during an interview with news men at his palace in Ugwunagbo Local Government Area. He said the State has witnessed many positive changes under the leadership of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
According to him, many roads including Aba-Owerri road, Faulks road, Ukaegbu road among others have been fixed while the first fly-over being constructed in the State would soon be commissioned. He urged the Governor to ensure he completes and commissions all the projects he has embarked upon before the end of his administration.
The royal father said the Governor has made Aba and Abia’s name to be heard all over the world through promotion of ‘Made in Aba’ products and empowerment of artisans. He appreciated the planned Enyimba Economic City which the Governor initiated, saying that it would improve the economy of the State. He lauded the Governor’s prowess in trade and commerce, education, agriculture and health as well as lauded the Governor’s ingenuity in managing the Covid-19 including establishment of laboratory and isolation centres.
The monarch, who commended the harmonious relationship existing between Governor Ikpeazu and the traditional rulers in the State, added that their welfare packages are taken care of by the Governor and called on Abia people to sustain their support to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
