The Each One Aid One Foundation is set to sponsor 1000 indigent students in Abia State for the 2020 JAMB registration starting soon. This is in line with the Foundation’s objectives aimed at improving the quality of lives of Abians and beyond in the three key areas of Education, Health and Community Development.

The Executive Director of the Foundation, Mrs. Freda Oluchi Uwa who disclosed this in an interview with ABIA ONLINE in her office said that the Foundation wanted to take a step further to do the tertiary education having done much in the Education system at the Primary and Secondary levels.

According to her, the Foundation was using this gesture to reach out to students who have already passed their senior secondary examination and are willing to further their education but are handicapped in terms of the resources to do so.

In her words: “At Each One Aid One Foundation, we are very keen at improving the quality of lives of Abians and by that we have developed three key areas of Education, Health and Community development

We thought it wise to give out 1000 JAMB forms, not only the JAMB forms but we’ll see them through the process of CBT registration, then bring them to a point where they are eligible to go into the JAMB centres and sit for their examination.”

She explained that the beneficiaries of the offer must strictly be Abia indigenes, must have a means of identification with a working sim card in a functional phone.

The Executive Director who informed that the process of selection would be first come first serve basis, noted that a Team from the Each One Aid One Foundation would be visiting the 17 Local Government Areas in the State beginning from next week.

She used the opportunity to urge young people who want to write this year’s JAMB to go to their individual Local Government Areas in the day the team would be visiting and get profiled as well as collect and fill their forms.
