Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has approved the appointment of Dr Aharauka Christopher Mbaonu as the Chief Executive of the Hospital Management Board, HMB.
The Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chris Ezem, who made this known in a release said the appointment is with effect from Monday, 14th December, 2020.

According to the release, Governor Ikpeazu expressed his appreciation and that of the people of the State to the outgoing Chief Executive, Dr Ijeoma Nduka, for her service to the state, and wished her well in her future endeavours.
