Governor Ikpeazu is one Nigerian governor with deep understanding of governance over politics hence he refuses to play politics with governance. The resultant effect of this rare mature act is the robust and cordial relationship between the state and Federal government that afforded governor Ikpeazu the needed opportunity to showcase the strengths of Abia people and seek patronage and collaboration for mutual benefits of Abia and Federal government. Little wonder why Abia was made the pioneer pilot state for MSME and several other people oriented programs. This has been applauded and commended by well meaning Abians and Nigerians across board unlike when our former governor, Orji Uzor Kalu pitched the state at needless war with the Federal government and dragged the state backwards.
