IKPEAZU CELEBRATES AS SUPREME COURT AFFIRMS HIS VICTORY OVER ALEX OTTI.

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu said he remained grateful to both God and the people of the State for the mandate given to him to be the Governor of the State even as he declared that the days ahead would be full of activities.

Dr. Ikpeazu stated this at his country home, Umuobiakwa in Obingwa LGA while addressing the press on his recent Supreme Court victory against the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Dr. Alex Otti.

While describing the victory as “victory for the unity and equity” in Abia State, Ikpeazu noted that with the victory he “feel more challenged to do more for Ndi Abia especially for those who cannot speak for themselves, the elderly, the mother and child, and the ordinary people including disabled members of our society.”

He used the opportunity to restate his total commitment to the growth and progress of Abia State, insisting that God has used the Supreme Court judgement to reaffirm to the whole world that the mandate given to him by the people of Abia State was divine.

Governor Ikpeazu thanked the judiciary for a job well done which has reenforced the believe that they are the last hope for the common man.

He equally thanked the press for their support for his administration charging them to do more for the betterment of the State and the society at large.
