JUST IN: Presidential Tribunal: Atiku Won Buhari In Katsina – PDP State Chairman Tells Tribunal

Salisu Maijigiri, the chairman, Katsina chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Tuesday, July 9, said that Atiku Abubakar won President Muhammadu Buhari in Katsina.

Maijigiri, testifying before the presidential election tribunal in Abuja, said that while President Buhari polled 872,000, his party, the PDP scored, 905,000.

Maijigiri said: “We (PDP) are the one who won the election not APC. “APC scored 872,000 and PDP scored, 905,000. These are our own results, we collated in our state not the ones from the server.”

The Katsina PDP chairman said the results collated by the agents across the state was at variance with the figures announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Vanguard reports. It was reported that Atiku had tendered President Buhari’s academic qualification form which was part of the form containing the president‘s personal information.

It was gathered that the presidential candidate of the PDP who is challenging Buhari’s victory in court presented the form on Monday, July 8. Levy Uzoukwu who is Atiku and PDP’s lead counsel tendered Form CF001 before the presidential elections petitions tribunal.

He also tendered receipt and acknowledgement letter from the INEC director of legal, which were all admitted in evidence by the tribunal

Atiku stated that Buhari deposed to an affidavit where he “claimed that all his academic qualification documents as filled in his presidential form, President APC 001/2015 are currently with the secretary Military Board.”
