Abia State Government has continued in its effort to cushion the efects of restrictions necessitated by COVID-19 on vulnerable persons in the State, especially those particularly hit hard by the well intended restrictions. To this end, the Government has invite the following churches to the State Government Food Bank located in the office of Wife of the Governor, Government House, Umuahia to collect food items for distribution to their affected members only.
A release endorsed by the Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, listed the Churches and their days of collection as follows:
