MR. ODOEMELAM TAKES OVER AS PERMANENT SECRETARY, GOVERNMENT HOUSE

Mr. Alozie Odoemelam, formerly the Permanent Secretary of ASOPADEC has resumed duties as the new Permanent Secretary, Government House, Umuahia.

Speaking at the handing over the affairs of Government House administration to the new Permanent Secretary, the outgoing Permanent Secretary of Goverment House, Elder Okechukwu Aguwa urged the management and staff of Abia State Goverment House to support the new Permanent Secretary to succeed in office.

Elder Okechukwu Aguwa, who himself will be replacing Mr. Odoemelam at ASOPADEC, urged his successor to work in synergy with the office of the Chief of Staff and the management staff of Government House .

Elder Aguwa, who noted that his administration instilled discipline among the staff, renovated the Permanent Secretary’s office among other achievements also described Mr. Odoemelam as a vibrant young man and expressed confidence that he would do well.

Receiving the hand over note, the new Permanent Secretary, Mr. Alozie Odoemelam promised to do his best in uplifting the administration of Government House.

He appealed for their cooperation and support so as to work as a team to achieve the objectives of Government House administration.

He appreciated the Governor of State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, the Head of Service, Sir Onyii Wamah and out-going Permanent Secretary of Government House, Elder Okechukwu Aguwa for their efforts in making the Service better.

Highlights of the event were signing of hand-over notes and taking of photographs among the management staff.
