The Member Representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole was Saturday conferred with the Chieftaincy title of Ugomba 1 Of Ngwa Land by the Chairman, Ukwa Ngwa Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Dr. IK Nwabiaraije Eneogwe.
The conferment was performed during the celebration of his 46th year on the throne the Ekwueme of Abayi Ancient Kingdom at Abayi Ancient Kingdom, Obingwa LGA, Abia State.
Eze Eneogwe was assisted by the leadership of the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers led by the Chairman, Eze Ndubuisi Nwabeke, 1st Deputy Chairman, Eze Kalu Kalu Ogbu, The ENACHIOKEN Of Abiriba and 2nd Deputy Chairman, Eze Harry Iwuala.
Speaking on the occasion, the celebrant, Eze Nwabiaraije Eneogwe said he singled Hon. Nkole out for the honour because of his track record of service to the people and his show of love over the years to the Ukwa La Ngwa people particularly their son, Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu .
He urged Hon. Nkole to count on the backing and prayers of Ukwa Ngwa Traditional Rulers in his future endeavours.
In their respective speeches, the Chairman, Traditional Rulers Council Abia State, Eze Nwabeke, and his Deputies, Enachioken of Abiriba, Eze K. K. Ogbu and Eze Iwuala affirmed the large-heartedness of Hon. Nkole and prayed God to continue to guide him.
Highlight of the occasion was the conferment of the Chieftaincy Title of UGO MBA NGWALAND on Hon. Uko Nkole By Eze Nwabiaraije, Eze Nwabeke, The Chairman, Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers , Eze Kalu Kalu Ogbu, the ENACHIOKEN of Abiriba , Eze Iwuala and Chairman of Obingwa Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Anaba.
