NKOLE REAFFIRMS READINESS TO ENHANCE TEACHING AND LEARNING, PROVIDE CONDUCIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR PUPILS (Photos)

The Member Representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole has reaffirmed his readiness and determination to continue to enhance learning and teaching, and to provide a conducive environment for our pupils to thrive academically.

Hon. Nkole made this known during the distribution of modern Educational and Instructional Materials including: a set of Parade band, Filing Steel Cabinet, Modern School desks and chairs, Desktop computer sets, Exercise Books, White Marker Board, Biros, Textbooks on Phonics, Markers, Dusters, among others to public primary schools in Ihechiowa, Isu and Ututu in Arochukwu LGA on Friday.

Nkole said the distribution of the materials will go round the over 180 public Primary Schools in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency and further reavowed his commitments and standing order to headteachers to continue his free registration of First School Leaving Certificate Examinations for indigent pupils in the Constituency.

He urged the Community leaders, youths and the management of the benefitting schools to ensure maximum security and prudence in the use of the items provided.

In appreciation, the Uburu Ihechiowa Eze in-council and the Development Union who were overwhelmed with joy, thanked him for remembering the community and promised their unalloyed supports and loyalty to him.

They, however, made an appeal to the Federal Lawmaker to assist them to resolve their electricity challenges.

In a swift response, Hon. Nkole, while thanking them for the warm reception accorded him invited the President General of the community, Elder Ottah Okore and the Youth leaders for an urgent meeting in order to work out modalities for an expedite action to restore their light.

Also, the headmistress of Uburu Community Primary School, Mrs. Ochua Victoria Torty said they are grateful for Nkole’s thoughtfulness. According to her, the academic materials donated to them by the federal lawmaker is the “first of it’s kind in the history of the school, since it’s inception in 2005”.

Mrs. Grace Chijioke Okorie, the immediate past Secretary, Arochukwu LGA who received the items on behalf of Obiene Central School, Ututu and Ohabuike Primary School, Obieze, Isu in Arochukwu LGA expressed hearty appreciation to Nkole and described him as an examplary leader who has remained focused and undaunted in delivering dividends of democracy to his constituency.

In Okpo Ihechiowa, the people of the community who organised a warm reception to the Federal Lawmaker, Hon. Uko Nkole described him as an accomplished legislator whose midas touch and positive impacts will remain indelible on the sands of time.

Meanwhile, Hon. Nkole’s visit to Okpo Ihechiowa was an ample opportunity for Mrs. Mercy Oburu Kalu, an indigene of Amiyi Okpo Ihechiowa who with tears of joy expressed deepest appreciation to Rep. Member Nkole who seamlessly facilitated the enlistment of her daughter, Joy Eke Sunday into the Nigerian Navy. She prayed the good Lord to continue to protect and grant Nkole success in his future political ambitions.

Highlights of the epoch making event was the decoration and recognition of Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole as an Esteemed Friend of Okpo Ihechiowa in Arochukwu LGA by the Community in appreciation of his grassroot styles of leadership and unprecedented achievements.
