“We are increasingly becoming political stable. Obviously, we have a strong military force, the best in Africa. The only thing that is holding us from achieving a super-power status is economic viability. And it is possible to achieve because we have done it before and can still do it again.

My constituency is Nollywood. When we started, there were certain things that made it possible to work; creativity, commitment, consistency and sacrifices. Because of all these, Nollywood was born. Today, we are a super-power in entertainment, the second best in the world. This scenario can be replicated in other spheres of life.
Excellence is the best conduit to primordial sentiment. Once we can rise and make Nigerian goods excellent. It will beat race, religions and ethnicity.
We are the most blessed nation on earth. We are blessed with abundant human and natural resources. The only thing that is missing is that willingness to conscientiously allocate, combine and utilize our men and materials through planning, organizing, directing and controlling so that our Nation’s objective will be achieved.
We must believe in our products. We may not be perfect now but when we believe in our products and improve on them, we will become strong and perfect someday”.
These were the words of Barr. Kenneth Okonkwo, a foremost Nigeria Nollywood actor whose voice is resonating strongly in support of the campaign for made in Nigeria products.
In Abia today, the government have conscientiously looked into making our own products a thing of pride. Today, Abia products are being boldly written “made in Aba” unlike in the yesteryears when no one seem to be proud of our local content produce.
The mission of sending Abia artisans will one day yield more fruits as expected. This line toed by Governor Ikpeazu is similar revolution that took place in China and today, China remains the largest economy in the world.
As our artisans departed to China today, we pray God to bless them with necessary wherewithal to bring good tiding to our dear State.
Thank you Governor Ikpeazu for think out of the boss.
#Let‘s keep faith with Abia
