Deaconess Ibelegbo Chidinma, one of the RCCG Pastors who was abducted and rescued on Saturday has recounted her experience in the hands of kidnappers, alleging that their abductors were Fulani herdsmen.

DAIlY POST had reported that the Ogun State Police Command on Saturday rescued all the victims abducted by the suspected Fulani herdsmen.

However, testifying at the church conference on Saturday night, Mrs Ibelegbo said while travelling to the RCCG camp their vehicle ran into some Fulani herdsmen at the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, who took them into the forest.

She stated that after praying that God should make her abductors fall asleep, God answered her prayers and she sneaked out of the bush.

“I prayed to God to make them fall asleep, and they fell asleep and continued to sleep until I began to make my way out of the bush. I was asking God for direction to the road.

“ I eventually came to a road and met a motorcyclist and when I narrated my story, the cyclist brought me to a police checkpoint.

Ibelegbo added that her interview with the State Police Commissioner led to the rescue of the other four victims.
