ABIA STATE GOVERNOR’S WIFE’S CONVOY WAS NEVER INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT.

Sequel to many conflicting stories and pictures making the rounds on social media in relationship the unfortunate event which occurred in Abia two days ago, the managers of Abia Online, a platform that has always been on ground with true information and news, have reacted to the pictures online portraying and suggesting that the Wife of the Governor’s convoy was involved in an accident on 3rd April, 2018 .
The convoy of the wife of the Governor of Abia State was not involved in any accident as being portrayed by the pictures posted, rather, a bus of the Wife of Governor’s convoy that missed the departure of the convoy after an engagement, in the course of trying to meet up with the convoy got involved in an accident along Ururuka road .
On receiving the heartbreaking information, the Governor’s wife turned back and immediately took the passengers of the ill -fated bus to the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, where she remained to ensure treatment commenced immediately and that they were all resuscitated. It was after two of the victims were pronounced dead that she was forced to leave because she couldn’t hold back her tears even in public. Being filled with emotions, she could not remain at the lodge while her aides were suffering, she had to come back on tears once again and of course was helpless, as it was an issue of death of very close aides no man or position could handle. Since then the Wife of the Governor has not been herself.
The managers of Abia Online however describe it as monumental loss and express their heartfelt condolences to the immediate family, relatives and Abia State Government as well as pray for all wounded to recover quickly.
