The entire leadership of Owaza communities in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State emptied at the home of the Governor in Umuobiakwa Obingwa LGA to thank the Governor for his giant strides since 2015 when he took over the mantle of leadership as chief servant of Abia State.
The delegation made up of all the traditional rulers, political leaders, youth and women leaders in Owaza were fully represented during the meeting.

They thanked the Governor for restoring peace which eluded Owaza for over a decade, they further thanked him for appointing their sons and daughters into prime positions in the state and local government. They expressed deep appreciation for taking one of their sons to China for automated shoe production training. An elated Eze Young thanked the Governor for sponsoring the entire leadership of Owaza community including traditional rulers to China on a trade mission where a major investment agreement between Owaza Community and a major investor in China. The high point was the adoption of a motion moved by Chief Sam Nwaogu the Chairman of ASOPADEC that the Governor be adopted as the sole candidate to be supported by the entire Owaza electorates.
Responding, Governor Ikpeazu expressed deep appreciation for the show of love and support he has received from Owaza people whom he had worked closely with. He assured the community that as Governor of Abia he will ensure that every part of the state benefits from his development efforts.
He thanked the people of Owaza for accepting his peace moves he also thanked them for supporting the private sector lead for the Enyimba Industrial City Project.
