TRANSPARENCY: ABIA SIP OFFICE PUBLISHES NAMES OF BENEFICIARIES OF FG SURVIVAL FUND PAYROLL SUPPORT SCHEME
The Abia State Focal Person on Social Investment Programme, Mr. Chinenye Nwaogu has approved for publication, the names and particulars of the 6,333 Abians who are beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s 75 Billion Naira Survival Fund under the Payroll Support Scheme.
This is contained in a statement signed by Godwin Okeagu on behalf of the Abia SIP office.
Mr. Okeagu said the publication is in line with the resolve of the Abia State Social Investment Programme office to constantly, regularly, and transparently abreast Abians with facts on the current realities, activities, and programmes of the office.
According to the statement, the beneficiaries have been paid successfully, with each receiving between the sum of #30,000 and #50,000 respectively for 3 months.
It noted that it has commenced with the release of the first batch of 1000 beneficiaries with a promise to continue with the release of the remaining 5,333 in batches.
