The month of October is celebrated the world over as World Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
To mark this month long event, Vicar Hope Foundation is offering FREE CLINICAL BREAST EXAMINATION at its centres in Aba and Umuahia from 10.00 a.m to 2.00pm everyday throughout the month of October.
Abians are advised to avail themselves of this unique opportunity by walking into any Vicar Hope Foundation Centres at 75 Cameroon Road Aba and 183 Ndume Otuka Bypass Umuahia.
Statistics show that breast cancer is the biggest cause of death from cancerous disease amongst adult women.
There is no cure for it except you detect it early and have it removed.
Women between the ages 20 to 40 are advised to have clinical breast examination once every three years while women above 40 are advised to do it at least once every year.
