In this video, Chief Uchenna Obigwe, Abia state Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), spoke with newsmen on the disbursement of the 3rd tranche of Paris Club Refund to Abia State and current status of salary payment in the state.
Highlights…
1. Confirmed that all workers in Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDA) of Abia State Government have received December 2017 Salary.
2. The trade union-led committee distributed N3.4b to workers and pensioners, representing 60%, of the N5.7b received as 3rd tranche of Paris Club Refunds.
3. Labour applauded Governor Ikpeazu for transparently managing inflows into the state accounts.
