BEING OUR BROTHERS’ KEEPER
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu today donated relief items to the Hausa Community in the State to help those whose sources of livelihoods were affected by the protests of the last two days.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Janet Agbede and a representative of the Army made the presentation to the leadership of the Hausa Community in the State.
The relief materials included food items of various kinds and cash.
This is a gesture of goodwill from the Governor and entire people of Abia State, and a practical demonstration that here in Abia, no one will be unfairly treated on the basis of ethnicity nor religion.
The Governor today inaugurated a 12 man Committee to ascertain the extent of damages and loses to public and private businesses with a view to working out a compensation plan, where practicable.
As far as possible, the Abia State Government under the watch of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu is committed to the welfare of all citizens who lawfully reside and do business in Abia State.
