Good leadership undoubtedly attracts voluntary follower-ship of the led. With the current economic turnaround in Abia State, shifting from the old narrative of crippled economic system, the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has continued to enjoy the goodwill and applause from many well meaning Abians and Nigerians at large.
This gesture stems from the infrastructural revolution the Governor has wrought within the length and breadth of the state and especially for saving Aba from a total dearth of infrastructure and social amenities.
In a breakfast meeting with the Hon. Commissioner for finance, Abia State, Mr. Obinna Oriaku, the leadership of Abia Professionals in Enugu stated that Governor Ikpeazu has performed creditably well to deserve a second chance in office.
In a unanimous decision by the executive members, they pledged their unalloyed support to the Governor and maintained that they will mobilize their members to reelect the Governor come 2019.
Responding, the commissioner for finance, Mr. Obinna Oriaku thanked them for coming and reiterated that Governor Ikpeazu remains a brand that is ready to turn the fortunes of Abia to better.
