ABIA IS THE SAFEST STATE FOR INVESTMENT – BISHOP ONUOHA

The President, Vision Africa Radio, Bishop Sunday Ndukwe Onuoha says Abia is the safest State for investment in Nigeria and that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu deserves commendation for achieving such feat.

Bishop Onuoha was speaking during an interview with news men in his office. He said “I want to say clearly that Abia State for me is the most peaceful State in the whole country. I want to congratulate the Governor for the peace we have in Abia State, you can’t do anything without peace, you can’t succeed without peace, you can’t attract investors if there is no peace.” He highlighted the importance of peace and security in business and said “Abia is peaceful. I want to thank the Governor for creating the environment for making it peaceful.
You cannot do anything without peace, you cannot attract investors without peace.”

He appreciated the Governor for his efforts in fixing Aba “Aba is the heart beat of our economy. The Governor has started some good works in Aba and some of the road works I saw are very very solid. I saw it myself” and urged him to do more in Aba to ensure that Aba would get to its forgotten glory.

The Methodist clergy, who lauded the Governor for the political stability in the State stated that
Governor Ikpeazu “has allowed the voices of opposition, the voices of people to air. And so not mudsling opposition is one of the reasons why you have peace in the State.
I don’t see government mercenaries going against people who do not agree with him”

He saluted the good relationship between the Governor and the clergy men in the State and commended him on the way he handled Covid-19 pandemic in Abia State which brought about the success achieved in the battle against Covid-19 “the Governor invited key religious leaders to discuss strategies to fight Covid-19 and I saw that as a powerful strategy ” The Bishop advised Abia people and residents not to destroy the record of non violence in the politics “Abia has done very well when it comes to politics, Abia does not shed blood. Abia does not have history of people who shed blood, we must never mess up or destroy that record”

Bishop Onuoha who is also an investor said “Abia to a large extent is secured. I invested in Abia and I am not afraid asking people to come and invest in Abia State. I am a good example of somebody who came home and invested and my investment is safe” He advised the Governor to create a stronger mechanism for feed back he would hear from the people, saying that it would assist him know the true position of people’s minds about him and his administration
