The Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has resolved amicably, its little differences that led to the suspension of the State Chairman, Sir Johnson Onuigbo.

Speaking in a joint press briefing, the Chairman, Sir Johnson Onuigbo said that the party had resolved the little misunderstanding it had and he has been fully restored to continue his services as the Chairman. He stated that the PDP in the State is now better, stronger and more positioned to sweep the entire 2019 polls.
Sir Onuigbo said ”The Governor intervened and we have reconciled. PDP is on track. It was the enemy that came to cause disunity among us but we have reconciled as one family”. According to him, the reconciliation has made the opposition parties to be jittery as the party is out to bring victory to Abians once again, adding that the opposition is now in disarray as they had wanted to take advantage of the crisis ahead of 2019.
Also speaking, Hon. Ibe said that the party had reconciled its differences. He said the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu waded into the misunderstanding and brought about the reconciliation, adding that the party is now more united and formidable.
