AGBAZUERE WELCOMES ABIA INDIGINES WHO RECEIVED PRESIDENTIAL AWARDS

The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr A.C.B Agbazuere has described hardwork, commitment and determination as critical keys to success.

Dr Agbazuere who stated this when he received in audience the Abia NYSC Presidential Award Group in his office at Government House, Umuahia maintained that success can only be achieved through dent of hardwork.

The Chief of Staff while commending them for making the State proud during their service years challenged other youths as well as other Abia corps members to emulate their sterling qualities and shun any act capable of bringing the State a bad name.

Earlier in his speech, one of the awardees and leader of the Abia NYSC Presidential Award Group, Mr Monday Rapheal said the award was in recognition of their outstanding performances and sterling qualities during their service year pointing out that this is the first time Abia indigenes were receiving the presidential award.

Mr Raphael, an indigene of Ukwa West L.G.A further disclosed that the aim of their visit was to present their awards and appointment letters into the Federal Civil Service to Dr. Agbazuere while appreciating him for the warm reception accorded them.

Other awardees include: Emmanuel Okeoma – Obingwa L.G.A, Ogbonna Udenka – Isiukwuato L.G.A, Okehi Ubaji – Ikwuano L.G.A and Miss Uduma Eberechi – Ohafia L.G.A.

The Director General, Abia State Mass Mobilization Agency, Chief Paddy Anyatonwu was present during the visit.
