Manchester United goalkeeper, David De Gea, has played down his stunning save to stop Sevilla’s Luis Muriel in their 0-0 draw in the Champions League round of 16 tie on Wednesdaynight.
De Gea made eight saves in the game, with two superb stops from Steven N’Zonzi and Muriel right at the end of the first half.
“It was at the last minute of the first half, it was an important moment of the game.
“I made a save, I’m happy for that,” De Gea told BT Sport.
Meanwhile, Chris Smalling said United were happy with the goalless draw and confident of completing the job at Old Trafford in three weeks.
“You could tell they tired in that second half, the last 20 minutes when we were trying to pressure.
“It was very open in that second half but it’s a result and we’re confident at home,” Smalling said.
