His Excellency ZHOU Pingjian PhD the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nigeria will today March 1, 2018 lead very Senior members of the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria and some Chinese business men to pay a state visit to the Governor of Abia State Okezie Victor Ikpeazu PhD.
Abia state and the China has in recent times enjoyed a robust bilateral relationship and the ambassador acting under directives from Beijing is poised to deepen the relationship for mutual economic benefits for both the state and China. It will be recalled that 30 Abia youths recently returned from a training on automated shoe production from China and another batch is being prepared to leave for the same mission. Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in his renewed effort to return Abia as a major industrial and economic hub in Nigeria is engaging with all willing partners to raise the socioeconomic and living standard of Abians. His promotion of made in Aba products campaign has gained international attention and will form one of the cardinal issues to be discussed among other economically impactful concerns.
