EACH ONE AID ONE FOUNDATION BEGINS DISTRIBUTION OF CHRISTMAS GIFTS TO JUNIOR WORKERS OF LGAs IN ABIA (See photos)

In the spirit of Christmas and the upcoming end of the year festivities, the Each One Aid One Foundation has come with yet another in their numerous philanthropic gestures in and around Abia State.

This time, the Foundation, on Monday commenced the distribution of bags of rice, beans, vegetable oil, bags of stockfish, cartons of tomato, bags of onions for junior workers in the Local Government Service of Abia State to enable them enjoy Christmas like their counterparts of the senior cadre.

Speaking on the reason for the gesture, the Programme Coordinator of the Foundation, Prince A. A. Abu, disclosed that the Foundation, which has overtime been working with vulnerable segments of the society, decided to consider the junior workers whom the society has not considered to be part of the vulnerable group.

Prince Abu explained that these sets of individuals, (levels 1-6 workers) are part of the community, who attend the same market with us, noting visibility study carried out indicate that they equally are susceptible to vulnerability considering what their monthly salary is, and that most of them have families to cater for as well as other dependent relatives.

According to him, it was in consideration of those, that the Chairman of Each One Aid One Foundation, Engr. Sir. Nwafor Enyinnaya decided that the Foundation extend the gesture to them to enable them celebrate this period with ease like every other person

He maintained that the target was to reach out to all the junior workers in the 17 Local Governnent Areas in Abia State.

ABIA ONLINE gathered that the Foundation, Monday visited seven(7) out the 17 LGAs. Local councils visited included: Umuahia North, Umuahia South, Ikwuano, Aba North
Aba South, Ugwunagbo and Osisioma.
