GOVERNOR IKPEAZU SWEARS NEW PERMANENT SECRETARIES
Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has sworn in two new Permanent Secretaries with the charge for them to lead by example.
The two new Permanent Secretaries are former DG of BCA, Sir Uchenna Dike and a labour leader in the State, Comrade Christopher Okpara.
In his speech while swearing-in the new Permanent Secretaries at Executive Chambers of Government House, Umuahia, the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu challenged them to be committed to the ideals of the civii service and ensure their names are written in gold in the annals Abia State Civil Service.
The Governor stated that the task ahead of them is one which demands seriousness and dedication and called on them to show loyalty to God Almighty and to the State government at all times. He urged them to uphold government policies which are aimed at taking the State to a higher level. Governor Ikpeazu said that he has no doubt of the capability of the Permanent Secretaries to perform as they have acquitted themselves with necessary knowledge that would help them excell.
Responding on behalf of his colleague, Sir Uchenna Dike thanked the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for the privilege bestowed on them and assured of their sustained loyalty to Governor and government of Abia State.
