The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State has released the names of their Chairmanship candidates with Michael Ibe Nwoke and 16 others making the list for the forthcoming December LGA Chairmanship election in the 17 Local Government Area of the State.
In a release, State Party Chairman, Rt. Hon. Allwell Asiforo Okere said they emerged following the successful primary elections conducted by the Party on Thursday, 12th November, 2020, to democratically decide the candidates of the party.
The release gave their names and Local Government Areas as: Aba North – Prince Chimehilaura Ikonne, Aba South – Honorable Clinton Ebere, Arochukwu – Prince Dan Kalu, Bende – Emmanuel O. N. Onwuchekwa, Ikwuano – Mpamugo Stephen Abochi, Isiala Ngwa North – Ochulor Chinwendu Victor, Isiala Ngwa South – Ikechi Anyatonwu, Isuikwuato – Agbeze Chimaobi, Obingwa – Michael Ibe Nwoke, Ohafia – Dr Ukiwe Okoroafor, Osisioma – Christian Kamalu N., Ugwunagbo – Mrs Nnata Chinasaokwu Joy, Ukwa East – Hon. Chuks Wabara, Ukwa West – Chief Okechukwu Kanu, Umuahia North – Njikonye Joseph Ukochukwu, Umuahia South – Humphrey Chukwudi Benson and Umunneochi – Ifeanyi Madu.
