In spite of heavy rains, the Abia Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has performed the official flag-off ceremony of the reconstruction of the old Aba – Owerri Federal Road stretching from Osisioma – Ekeakpara- NNPC Depot – Amavo to Owerrinta.
Speaking at the occasion, the Governor described the road as being dear to him as it is of great economic importance. Governor Ikpeazu assured that the road would be completed in record time and urged the people to give the contractor the needed support.
Recall that the Governor had last week promised to fix the road during the meeting he held with stakeholders in NNPC.
