An accidental hazard of gas explosion has just occurred at Baruwa Inside, Ayobo, Alimosho local government area in Lagos state with fire raging in the community.
The explosion is said to have emanated from Best Roof gas plant, Cardos road, Ipaja burning some buildings around.
In view of the incident, Four persons have been confirmed dead by the explosion, a school building, 24 shops and six other buildings around the gas station were also razed.
Nosa Okunbor, the Spokesperson of Lagos State Emergency Agency, LASEMA, said aside the four dead casualties, several others were injured.
There’s a combined effort of the Agency’s Tiger team, Dolphin team, LRU Fire, LASG Fire Service, NPF, NUPENG, and LNSC at the scene of the incident to help curtail the spread of the fire to other buildings as Dampening down is ongoing.
