NGWA PATRIOTS FORUM CONGRATULATES IKPEAZU ON HIS FIRST YEAR SECOND TERM

The President and the entire members of Ngwa Patriots Forum has sent a message of congratulations to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and entire Abians on the occasion of the first year of the Governor’s second tenure as a visionary leader.

The message was contained in a statement signed by President of the Forum, Chief Uzo Ihuka, General Secretary Chief Chibuike Onyendilefu and the Director of Publicity, Chike Ogechi.

The statement said the Forum had watched with excitement the governor’s “renewed vigour towards the delivery of democracy dividends and quality infrastructure that cut across all the segments of our state life and we make bold to say that you have done well in justifying the huge confidence reposed on you by the teeming voters of Abia.”

“We will not fail to mention here the introduction of massive drainages and the deployment of the rigid cement technology on most of our roads across the state which are today testimonies of your determination to bequeath on Abia infrastructure that will long outlive your regime,” the statement said.

It observed that Umuahia and especially Aba are currently receiving huge attention through the reconstruction of major roads that will return the glory of both cities.

According to them, “With the soon to be commenced 27.4 Billion project for the reconstruction of Ngwa Road, Uratta Road, Port Harcourt Road, Obohia and Ohanku Roads, Aba will come full circle and maximally return to its position as a major business hub of the East and Aba business which you became from the inception of this government the biggest advocate and ambassador will further find increased traction to reach its major goal of becoming the China of Africa in sundry manufacturing and modern technology.”

While thanking the Governor “for all these and so many other developmental efforts of your adminstration,” the Forum urged him not to relent in doing more for Abia.
