Residents, business owners as well as road users of Osusu/Ama-Ogbonna in Aba have expressed their excitement while pouring encomiums on the Governor as the Osusu road project has been completed and opened for use to.
Some of the road users who spoke to ABIA ONLINE in an interview expressed excitement and joy at the completion of the road which has been in a deplorable state for so many years in no much time noting that the opening of the road was timely especially in this festive season when economic activities are expected to be on the high side.
The residents which included a tricycle operator, Chimezie Jumbo, Nkechinyere Philips, (petty trader) as well as Ijeoma Ugochukwu (resident) thanked the State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for timely completion of the road and pleaded with him to incorporate road bumps into the road construction project to minimize the rate of accident on the road.
They also asked that he should put a restriction on heavy duty trucks on the road as well as employ sweepers who would also sweep debris which tend to deface the road, so as to keep the road constantly clean.
