The Abia State Agency for the Control of HIVAIDS (ABSACA) Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VTC) programme which started at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), ends today with excitement on the faces of students who voluntarily trouped out ‘en mass’ for the exercise.

The Project Manager/Executive Secretary, ABSACA, Dr. Ajike Kalu Eme, while speaking on the essence of the VTC, reiterated the fact that the only way to end HIV/AIDS epidemics is for everyone to know his/her HIV status insisting that sensitization becomes the key to getting people aware of such information.

Dr. Ajike disclosed that the VTC project which is happening in Abia State as the only State in the entire South East would move to Isi-Gate, Umuahia tomorrow, Friday, 1st of November, 2019 and encouraged everyone to come out and get tested.

Abia Online captured the mood of the students of MOUAU in the pictures as displayed below…
