TAKE OUR GOODNEWS TO ALL PARTS OF THE STATE AND DELIVER VICTORY FOR THE PDP
IKPEAZU CHARGES HIS AIDES
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has charged all his appointed aides to take the message of consolidation of the achievements of his administration to all parts of the state and by so doing, work closely with their people to ensure total victory for the PDP in the impending elections.
The Governor gave this charge today at an interactive session he had with his aides from across the state. The aides which include Commissioners in charge of Ministries, Commissioners in Government Commissions and Agencies, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants and Technical Officers were drawn from the three Senatorial Districts of the State.
The Governor addressed them in three different venues within the Government House.
Describing them as key stakeholders of his administration, the Governor made it clear that they have a responsibility to take our message of equity and performance to their various localities and ensure that our party gets a resounding victory.
He informed them that their political future lies in the PDP and gave an example with himself and traced how he kept faith with the party over the years assuring them that they could become anything in the nearest future.
He warned them against the dire political consequences of allowing all these Lagos based opposition politicians to overrun them in their localities.
The State Party Chairman, Chief Johnson Onuigbo, Director General of the Abia PDP Central Campaign Council, Elder John Nwangborogwu, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Engr. Emma Nwabuko all spoke in the same vein.
Responding, representatives of the aides in each of the 17 local governments all assured the Governor of their total commitment to his reelection and that of the PDP across the state. They told the Governor that his administration has given them sufficient selling points to market his reelection with relative ease.
