I recall when some Abians were pleading with Ndi Anamba to borrow Gov Obiano. In their understanding, Gov Obiano is better than Dr Ikpeazu. 🤦♂

Gov Ikpeazu inherited not so good looking Abia, Obiano inherited near perfect ANAMBRA. While the books of ANAMBRA State was perfect with 75 billion extra money to develope the state, with nothing to show for it. The books of Abia State, physical infrastructure, not forgetting a very decayed Aba were all encumbrances for Dr Ikpeazu. Today, Aba is wearing a new look. The books are gradually turning green. Only a very poor student would prefer Obiano to Ikpeazu.
Anyways, I was in Umuahia last week for a wedding. I used that opportunity to sample opinions of the men on the street to enable understanding of near accurate feelings of the people about the chances of Dr Ikpeazu on Saturday.
Outside the Taxi man that gave me accurate direction to Evangel secondary school after I missed the Ubakala Junction exit, I asked other 15 people. 11 agreed that the current administration are doing well above average. Although 4 seems to be die hard Dr Alex Otti supporters due to the way they condemned Dr Ikpeazu’s administration and suggested that if Otti had won in 2015, he would have turned the state around.
From my observation, the election would be between Dr Ikpeazu and Dr Alex Otti. While I have the feeling that Dr Ikpeazu’s giant strides would give him edge above Dr Otti, mere edge may not be fantastic for Ndi Abia to avoid another lengthy litigation that clog the wheel of development.
Therefore, I implore the people of Abia State to give a resounding support to Dr Ikpeazu, with 70:30 success margin ratio for quick stability of his government post election. I also pray they protect their votes to avoid rampaging rigging merchineries of Ndi APC.
