The ultramodern Abia State Poultry Clusters for Abia Central Senatorial Zone built by the Ikpeazu administration at Umuosu Nsulu, Isialangwa North LGA will be commissioned on Wednesday 27th November 2019 by the State Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
A release signed by the Honorable Commissioner for Agriculture, Prof Ikechi Mgbeoji puts the venue at Umuosu Nsulu at 12 noon.
According to the release, the Ministry of Agriculture has invited the following to the event: The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Ude Okochukwu, the Speaker Abia House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Orji, the House Committee Chairman on Agriculture, Hon. Barr. Okey Igwe, members of the State House of Assembly, the State chief Judge, the President customary court of Appeal, the Secretary to the State Government, the Chief of Staff Government House, all commissioners, the State Head of Service, all Permanent Secretaries, all Special Advisers to the Governor, all Transition Committee Chairmen of the 17 LGA’s.
Others invited by the Ministry are: the Vice Chancellor, Abia State University, the Vice Chancellor Michael Okpara University Umudike, Heads of Federal and State Agricultural Establishments in the State, members of the project management Team for the CBN Accelerated Agricultural Development Scheme, Chairman, Abia State Traditional Rulers Council, All Farmers’ Association, Farmers Cooperative Unions, Poultry Farmers’ Association, all Agricultural stakeholders, Media Practitioners and the General public.
