The funeral service was conducted by Christ Anglican Church Mbubo Nsulu.

The great people of Abia were indeed yet to recover from the electrifying and mind-blowing Night of Tributes and Live Concert Chief Eric Opah and his siblings organized in celebration of the life and times of their late father.

Chief Opah, the President/CEO and founder of Fortune Global Shipping and Logistics Limited, the current Chairman, Nigeria-America Chamber of Commerce, Abia State Chapter, an Associate Member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria (IODN), the President of Eric Opah Foundation, Founder/President of Mbubo Transformation Group, and son of Late Nze Joseph Azubuike Opah, treated their guests to a state-of-the-arts Interment and Funeral Service. It was followed by the grand laying to rest of the remains of the Late Chief Nze Joseph Azubike.

The officiating Bishop of the funeral service took the liberty of delivering the sermon to admonish the good people of the land to be mindful of how they live their lives and how they spend their short time on earth. He explained that eternity is a really long time. Longer than the time we spend on earth, and since the way you live determines where they will spend eternity, they should be courteous remembering like the great King Solomon in Ecclesiastes; Everything under the earth is vanity upon vanity and would fade away. So, they should be wise and conduct themselves properly because, like Eric Opah’s father, everyone will die and be laid to rest on the earth one day, immediately after which they will stand before the great imperfect judge, who, unlike the judges of this world, makes no mistakes.
