The Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu says the proposed Nkporo General Hospital when completed will be a reference point for other health institutions in the state.
Dr.Ikpeazu who stated this while performing the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Nkporo General hospital in Ohafia LGA said in line with the present administrations penchant for quality job,it awarded the hospital project to one of the best contractors to execute in order to meet up with required international standard. The Governor who was ably represented by the Secretary to the State Government Dr.Eme Okoro opened that he came to fulfill his promise to them concerning the establishment of a General hospital in Nkporo land during a grand reception organized in his honour on 2nd January this year reassured them of the preparedness of his government to provide basic amenities and infrastructural development to their area and other communities across the state in line with his campaign promises to Abians. He enjoined them to stand solidly behind their son and Deputy Governor of Abia state Rt Hon Ude Oko Chukwu who has attracted so many dividends of democracy to their area by sustaining and demonstrating their support and loyalty through voting en-masse for his second term bid as well as other PDP candidates…
